Students’ ACT scores at an eight-year high

The 1,924 students who graduated from Fayette County’s five area high schools in June garnered more than $17.6 million in scholarships and have fanned out to universities, colleges and technical schools around the globe. Read more

During kindergarten screening, a boy was asked to count to 10. When he was done, the teacher said, “Great job! Can you count higher than that?” The boy immediately stood and stretched out both hands high over his head, saying “1, 2, 3 ….”
